KENDALL Jenner decided to strip back her outfit for this year’s Met Gala – and arrived wearing an almost completely sheer gown.
The 21-year-old supermodel looked sensational as she arrives at the illustrious annual event with her shoulder-length black hair perfect coiffed as she showed off her stunning beauty with a classically simple make-up choice.
However, all eyes soon turned to her incredible figure that was nearly completely on display in a completely sheer gown that exposed her pert bum and killer legs.
The gown was designed by Italian brand La Perla lingerie, who she frequently collaborates with, and clearly embraced its background as an underwear company in the flowing number.
While the outfit was completely sheer, it was still adorned with 85,000 crystals that glimmered under the light of the cameras.
She appeared to be wearing a black jewel-encrusted thong underneath her outfit to have it blend in with her couture gown, with a decorative bodice just about covering her essentials from the front.
A cutaway panel across the front of her chest ran from her shoulder-blade to her hip, exposing her option to go bralness and revealing her toned tummy.
The outfit had a painfully high thigh split up the front of the dress to help her show off her shapely pins.
The star – who has never been shy to bare all for the camera due to her work as a Victoria’s Secret model – looked like she was having a blast nearly naked on the carpet, and beamed as she posted for pictures.
Kendall arrived at the event shortly after her little sister Kylie – who showed off her hourglᴀss figure in a skin-coloured Versace outfit and a donned a platinum blonde bob.
The black tie party – which raises money for the Costume Insтιтute – is an annual event which sees some of the biggest celebrities vying for attention on the red carpet.
Last year 600 guests were present at the bash, known as “the Oscars of the East Coast”, but this year a spokesperson for the museum confirmed the gala would be a more “intimate” affair.
Tickets to the Met Gala cost £23,000 per person and last year they raised over £10 million for the museum.
Each year celebrates designers and 2017’s party celebrates the work of Rei Kawakubo.
Guests will dress according to the Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between theme.
The 74-year-old designer created the Comme des Garçons brand in 1969.
Rei is making history at the Gala as she is only the second living designer to be celebrated.
The first was Yves Saint Laurent in 1983.
