Blac Chyna made her presence known on the red carpet of the MTV Video Music Awards in a pink feather mini-dress that was a match for what Kylie Jenner wore earlier this month as she celebrated turning 22.
The 30-year-old beamed at the event, stemming from the MTV Video Music Awards at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Monday.
Chyna, whose real name is Angela Renée White, walked the red carpet in matching strappy ankle heels and had her dark black locks in a retro glam style to the side, rounding out her ensemble with diamond earrings, a barrette and a pearl necklace.
Chyna, who’s mother to son King Cairo, six, with Kylie’s ex, rapper Tyga, and daughter Dream Renée, two, with Kylie’s stepbrother Rob Kardashian, had had an eventful summer with her Zeus network reality series, The Real Blac Chyna.
The Washington D.C. native clashed with her ex Kardashian over the series, as TMZ in June reported that Chyna received a letter banning Dream from appearing on the show, when it was never her intent to put the toddler in front of the cameras.
She said in a statement that she wasn’t going to subject her daughter to the long hours of filming or conflict that takes place in front of the camera.
She noted the complete lack of communication between the pair after nearly three years of back-and-forth fighting, as he would not agree to sign a release authorizing Dream to appear on the show.
‘It is very unfortunate that Rob could not simply have an adult conversation with me “the mother of his child,” Dream Kardashian, appearing on my show.’
Chyna also marveled at the idea of a Kardashian family member resisting the reality TV cameras.
‘I also would have pointed out to Rob the hypocrisy of his family’s insistence that Dream appear on Keeping Up with the Kardashians in the family’s desperate attempt to boost the dismal ratings for their stale and contrived show, without my approval, including an entire scene being Dream’s birthday party, again without my consent,’ she said.
