Rob Kardashian and Chyna welcomed their daughter Dream Renée Kardashian, now five, in 2016, but announced their split as a couple just a month later. She also shares son King Cairo, nine, with rapper Tyga.
Their reality series Rob & Chyna premiered in September 2016 and concluded in December the same year.
On Thursday, Chyna testified in Los Angeles Superior Court that she never consciously took a $100,000 payment known as a ‘kill fee’ for the end of her former E! show Rob & Chyna.

She took the stand for the third consecutive day in the ongoing trial, fielding questions from Kardashian-Jenner lawyer Michael Rhodes about the reality series, which aired on E! from September to December of 2016, and chronicled her relationship with Rob Kardashian, 35.
Rhodes said the Lashed Cosmetics owner collected the $100,000 kill fee for the series, as well as $370,000 for her appearances on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Chyna testified that she took the $100,000 sum for what she believed to be payment for filming, and not due to the cancelation of the reality series.
‘Why would I sign a kill fee for my number one show?’ Chyna said, adding that the payment came during a time when the show remained in production, according to People.
She added that her lawyer did not include her in contract talks, so she wouldn’t be privy to such details.
Relationship: Rob Kardashian and Chyna (pictured in 2016) welcomed their daughter Dream in 2016, but announced their split a month later. They had a reality show Rob & Chyna
An E! spokesperson in June of 2017 told Variety that Rob & Chyna had ‘not been in production for several months and [was] not currently on the E! schedule’.
Rhodes said during court proceedings earlier this week that Chyna ‘wanted’ to be ᴀssociated with the Kardashians and ‘would say or do anything to be part of this family’.
The lawyer noted Chyna and Rob were ‘screaming and yelling’ at one another in a vicious fight at Kylie Jenner’s house when a second season was in the works, and that Kris’s beau Corey Gamble had to stand between them to calm things down.
Rhodes said that E! was hesitant about renewing the series for a second season as the couple seemed ‘off the rails’ in their ability to get along, as they had made allegations of physical abuse toward one another.

‘This relationship was fraught with problems and the network was very worried,’ Rhodes said, noting that the Kardashian family was more worried about the mercurial relationship than the status of the spinoff series.
He said the family was ‘acting against their own financial interest to protect someone they loved’.
E! ultimately canceled the series due to Rob and Chyna ending their engagement and breaking up in February of 2017, Rhodes said.
Chyna’s attorney Lynne Ciani said that Kris, with the help of her daughters, ‘set out to have Rob & Chyna canceled’ despite that Rob ‘wanted it to keep going.’
Ciani said that the Kardashians used their clout with E! to have Rob & Chyna pulled off the network, costing Chyna millions as a result.
Drama: (L-R) Khloe Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Kris Jenner were seen in a courtroom sketch attending the legal proceedings
Kris testified on Thursday that as executive producer of Rob and Chyna, she negotiated with E! for the couple to each receive $92,500 for a seventh episode of season one, which was a one-hour special on the birth of their daughters Dream.
She said that she also negotiated an additional $200,000 fee which was to go into a savings account for Dream.
Kris told the court that she was not aware of any filming being done for Rob and Chyna’s second season or NBCUniversal (E!’s parent company) green-lighting a second season, or that E! made an announcement that they were picking up season two.
In other details gleaned from Thursday’s proceedings, Blac Chyna said in testimony that she hasn’t filed taxes since 2018 or 2019, and doesn’t have any bank accounts to her name, TMZ reported.
Proceedings: On Thursday, Chyna (pictured with Rob in 2016) testified she never consciously took a $100,000 payment known as a ‘kill fee’ for the end of her former E! show Rob & Chyna
While under questioning from Rhodes, Chyna said 2015 marked the last year she had filed taxes personally, and that her filings in recent years were for her companies Lashed LLC, 88 Fin and Blac Chyna Inc.
She said her sources of income in recent years have come from personal appearances and an OnlyFans account.
Chyna also delivered testimony regarding Rob’s posting of naked pictures of her on Instagram, which led to her seeking a restraining order against the sock designer.
‘It was the only way I could stop him from posting pictures of me on the Internet,’ she said when asked if she had sought court intervention in an effort to garner publicity, according to the outlet.
When asked about appearing on Good Morning America after filing the paperwork with the court, Chyna said she ‘wanted everyone to hear [her] side of the story’.
Exes: The testimony came a day after Chyna told the court she harbored no hard feelings against Kylie over her relationship with her ex Tyga (pictured with Chyna in February 2014)
‘I was already public,’ she said. ‘I’m supposed to just not say anything and take it? He posted ɴuᴅᴇs of my entire body.’
The testimony came a day after Chyna told the court she harbored no hard feelings against Kylie over her relationship with her ex Tyga.
Chyna was asked under oath if she held ‘a grudge’ against Kylie for dating Tyga – after she and the rap artist parted ways in August of 2014 – and she said, ‘No, not at all,’ Rolling Stone reported.
Tyga and Kylie publicly acknowledged their relationship in August of 2015 and parted ways in 2017.
Chyna also said in court on Wednesday that she had been friendly for years with Kim, Mirror reported, but that ended when Kylie and Tyga commenced in their romance.
