Nicki Minaj certainly took ‘The Garden of Time’ dress code seriously.
The 41-year-old rapper donned a unique colorful 3D floral bouquet number designed by Marni at the star-studded Met Gala 2024 in New York City on Monday.
The eccentric look was yellow and featured fringe which resembled grᴀss and was adorned with several mᴀssive 3D flowers all over it.
The look featured a low-cut neckline and she teamed it with yellow leather heels.
She accessorized with a small bag which matched her dress sans the flowers but had flowers in her hair.
Nicki also donned a jet black bob and featuring a bun with the aforementioned colorful accessory.
She accentuated her looks with complementary make-up topped off with a swipe of shiny pink lip.
The Costume Insтιтute’s spring exhibition falls on the first Monday in May every year and is held at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.
This year the event is тιтled Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion while the dress code is The Garden of Time.
Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth are this year’s co-chairs. Also on the committee is Vogue’s Anna Wintour.
The honorary chairs for the evening are Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson and TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew.
‘This year’s co-chairs reflect a variety of career achievements, and all have distinct style histories with the Met Gala,’ Vogue shared.
